Growth, Development & Healing

I have over 8 years personal development experience working with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds, seeking help for a great range of issues and problems. In that time I have earned the reputation of being able to provide an atmosphere of safety, respect and optimism for the capacity to overcome difficulties. In the process, my clients develop an increased sense of satisfaction and effective control over their lives.

My approach is integrative, collaborative and active in focussing on the issues identified by the client. My theoretical stance is Holistic, Humanistic and Relational. The therapeutic relationship becomes a vehicle for experience, growth and change.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I aim at a genuine meeting in the therapeutic relationship, and believe that growth, Development and healing is dependent upon the depth and quality of this relationship.

Most of my work is long-term psychotherapy, although I do also offer short-term counselling and coaching as
well. I work with a wide range of issues and specialise in relational aspects.

One of my primary goals is to understand the subtle and unique ways a person perceives and experiences people, situations, traumas and events and why they do. In other words, how the individual attributes their own particular meaning to events. Through enhancing this awareness, the individual becomes free to explore greater choice in emotional response.

Some individuals come for reasons such as difficulties in relationships, feelings of low self esteem, anxiety, stress, depression, abuse issues or bereavement. Others choose psychotherapy as a means to explore a desire to be freer and more true to hemselves when destructive patterns keep repeating themselves. Others come as a result of chronic physical symptoms
which restrict their life experience, such as migraine, back pain, among others.

During the last few years I established myself in various practices across London. In March 2008, I founded Kingyo Therapy Suites, a space that facilitates amplification of my interdisciplinary holistic approach.

During my time as a therapist, my enthusiasm, respect and appreciation of my clients has never ceased to grow.
