Christina McAuley

Christina McAuley has a BSc (Hons) in Sport rehabilitation and injury prevention, NASM in personal training, Sports coaching qualifications, BTEC National Diploma in sports and exercise science.

Christina offers sports massage and individualised treatment and rehabilitation programmes, for injuries occurred from sport or preventing full fitness back into sport. Although Christina specialises in sport related injuries she can treat other chronic conditions e.g. RSI and occupational related injuries. These programmes are focused on the client’s needs and therefore enable the client to focus on their goals and/or to decrease or prevent risk of future injuries.

Christina can treat many sports injuries including sprains and strains, rotator cuff tears, tendonitis, impingement syndrome, labrum tears, chronic instability, bursitis, epicondylitis, degenerative pathologies, plantar fasciitis, iliotibial band friction syndrome, patellofemoral pain syndrome, etc.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t know the name of your problem as long as there is a problem e.g. pain, pain with movement, stiffness, decreased movement and/or weakness. Christina can carry out tests to diagnose a treatment to your problem.

Along with treating sports injuries Christina is also a basketball player and under 19 basketball coach. Being a player and coach allows Christina to understand the frustration of not being able to train and/or compete due to injury. Her aim is to provide you with a programme to enable a quick and safe return to sport.
